Welcome to Cotswold Little Explorers;
Your guide for people visiting and living in the Cotswolds with kids – we are luckily enough to call this place home, and although we haven’t been everywhere in the region (yet), its on our list, and we will continue to share all our Cotswolds adventures as we discover new places and enjoy old favourite’s with our Children.
Lizzie & James
My name is Lizzie, and I live in the Cotswolds with my husband James and our two children, who are 7 and 5.
We have been together for 18 years, travelled the world, and now we have settled down with our beautiful children in a pretty corner of England. We love getting out and about in nature and walking with the kids. We are also partial to a National Trust visit in a Sunday!
Cotswold Little Explorers is all about getting kids out in nature as much as possible and enjoying the great outdoors; this website started as a place to share all the research I do on family-friendly walks and activities in the area, and we are so happy to share our experiences with like minded families to help you plan your own family adventures in the Cotswolds.
I also run a family travel blog; Travel Happy Family, where I share our backpacking adventures around the world, including Australia, Japan, and the USA, and travels in Europe.
But, the Cotswolds is the place we always come home to and it is our favourite place in the world. There is nothing better than a muddy winter’s walk, a trip to an English country garden, or a bike ride over the Cotswold Hills and of course a drink in a pretty country pub with views for miles.
