  • ACCESSIBILITY: 2/3 gates. No stiles. Unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
  • BEST FOR: Perfect for toddlers / pre schoolers

HIGHLIGHTS: A short and easy walk with stunning countryside views across 16 counties, historic castle, and café. There are a herd of resident deer who graze on the hilltop.

STEP BY STEP:

Starting from the car park you will see the café immediately. Walk past the café and follow the path to the gated entrance to the tower grounds.

Follow the path through the tower grounds enjoying magnificent views of 16 counties and the resident herd of deer. Make your way through the gate at the rear of the Tower and start downhill along a rocky dirt path (this is signposted the Cotswold Way).

After a few minutes you will come to a line of trees and a gate in front of you continuing downhill (through this gate is downhill towards Broadway village). Take a LEFT at this line of trees and continue walking across the field until you reach the Tower Barn and e bike hire building. Turn left again at the building and following the road up a short hill through some trees and bushes you will find yourself back at the café, ready to grab an ice cream or hot chocolate!

The walk is short and not taxing but has a few steep sections and is rocky and uneven in places. You could not manage a pushchair through the gates or terrain easily. Our 3 year old can manage this easily with a handhold on the rockier sections
